Our keynote speaker at the CTD2022 Conference is Professor Toyin Falola, University Distinguished Teaching Professor Jacob and Frances Sanger Mossiker Chair in the Humanities, University of Texas at Austin, USA. It is definitely hard to briefly introduce Prof. Falola who holds more than a dozen academic degrees (Doctor of Letters, Honorary Professor), has authored 100+ tomes of books to his name. Prof. Falola is a defining voice globally in African Studies and African History, Cultural Studies, Area Studies, African Social Science, African Traditional and Contemporary Art, and African Politics, International Relations, Political Economy, and Security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof Falola has been a global pioneer in terms of modern African history and decolonization in historiography, and has continued to reach new heights since then. Also via his students, his intellectual imprint is everywhere in African Studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
