Based on the cooperation between the African Research Institute (ARI) and the Universidad Externado de Colombia, it has been decided to publish parallel thematic issues in both JCEEAS and its Colombian counterpart, Observatory for the Analysis of International Systems (OASIS), an indexed, peer-reviewed journal.
Accordingly, ARI has invited Jerónimo Delgado-Caicedo, PhD, Editor-in-Chief of OASIS, and Paula Ximena Ruíz-Camacho, PhD, Director of the School of International Relations at Universidad Externado de Colombia, to serve as guest editors for the 4/2026 issue of JCEEAS under the theme:
“The Global South and the Polarizing World: What Role for Africa and Latin America?”
Manuscripts intended for publication may be submitted to either of the editors by 15 November 2026.
